Further to Government advice given on 16th March 2020 the decision has been made to temporarily halt our “normal” offer to local families in West Berkshire until further notice.
From today (17th March 2020), our trained Home-Visiting volunteers and staff will no longer be visiting families in their homes. Our three family groups, based in Calcot, Thatcham and Greenham will be closed until further notice. The current PND Groups will also be cancelled in Thatcham and Greenham .
We understand that self-isolation may bring additional concerns for families so weekly phone call to all supported families will be offered as an alternative to a home-visit or a group session.
We will continue to accept referrals and will contact families on receipt of the referral with a view to visit them once the Government guidance changes.
The office phone line will still be in use with messages being picked up throughout the day. We have also added a chat function to our website so please say hi and ask any questions. Alternatively, you can contact us via email at: office@home-startwb.org.uk
