Friday 24th July was a massive success for Home-Start West Berkshire’s annual fundraising. We were delighted to be the first charity to hit the £15,000 mark during Chris Boulton’s radio show at 8am. Our incredible power up was due to the spectacular donation of £5,000 by our corporate sponsor, Helix.
Helix have been sponsoring Home-Start West Berkshire since 2018, committing to continue to support the charity as their Newbury based building and consultancy company moves from strength to strength.
All the donations to the Maternal Mental Health Project will be used to deliver practical and emotional support to at least 50 local families affected by mental illness. The project has been designed to support new parents by assigning home-visiting volunteers that are able to provide flexible and responsive support, making sure that parents and their children have access to the vital help they need.
