It is with much sadness that we say farewell to Julie Kaesser this month as a Home-Start Family Co-ordinator. Julie joined Home-Start in 2007 as a home-visiting volunteer. In 2010, Julie joined the team as a Family Co-ordinator working 12 hours a week. 8 years later she is still with us, working more hours and with a huge amount of valuable experience to share.
Julie has been an integral part of our Postnatal Depression Service, running our groups and making a big difference to the families involved. Julie's warm and encouraging personality has persuaded many new mums to come along to group even though it is the last thing they feel like doing!
We wish Julie all the very best in her new role as Vulnerable Women's Worker for Berkshire Women's Aid and look forward to keeping touch in another capacity.
