We are very excited to announce a new way to support Home-Start West Berkshire which could bag you £25,000!!! West Berkshire has launched its own lottery for good local causes. Tickets are just £1 to play and 50p comes straight to Home-Start West Berkshire, 10p is allocated to a Community Fund for distribution to local organisations, 20p goes towards the prizes and 20p goes back towards the running of the lottery. You also needn’t feel torn if you want to support more than one charity as you can choose a different cause for each ticket you purchase or of course, buy multiple tickets for your favourite charity -Home-Start!
Our funding really benefits from schemes such as this as we are able to use the funding flexibly rather than project funding which needs to be spent in a very specfic way. This funding can provide top up to other projects, Summer outings, Christmas parties, etc. You will have the good feeling of donating whilst at the same time being in with a one in 50 chance of winning £25,000!
